That is, "catch up".
Dennis Kennedy, one of my favorite bloggers in the legal profession, posted an entry today on e-mail as a dying medium. He also ponders what constitutes a blog - do you need to have feedback (i.e., comments) to make it a blog? Apparently the jury (pardon the pun) is still out on that. Mr. Kennedy also mentions the junk comments you get when you have a blog, and I certainly got a ton of them.
Anyway, since my faithful friend Roger was the only one who consistently posted to my blog, and occasionally my brother, I had no clue if anyone cared about what I wrote, or even read it. Be that as it may, since my last post I went to New York State, Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont, was a witch at Halloween (and year-round, as some might attest), a Pilgrim at Thanksgiving, and have had a myriad of issues with my 7-year-old Prizm with 123,000 miles on it (go figure). I am now planning to move out of crime-ridden Orlando and Orange County (3 murders in the first 3 days of the New Year, we're on a roll) and return to Lakeland. It will mean a 50-mile commute one-way (almost all interstate) to my job, and I'll have to finally get the new car I kept threatening to get (a Corolla), but I think I'm going to be happier spending my evenings and weekends in a smaller city (the size of Albany, for you NY folks) and being closer to my sister and her family. Stay tuned.
